Trajan's Cadiz
A downloadable game
Cadiz is one of the oldest continuously-inhabited sites in Europe, with over 3000 years of human presence in the area. By the time of Emperor Trajan, the city was already ancient, fallen from highs that rivaled Rome herself a century ago - sunny and remote, once-lavish Urbs Iulia Gaditana enjoys in a slow decline in an age of peace. Those who come here seeking pleasure or profit are easy prey for monsters hiding in the shadow of Hercules, and buried secrets of the mythic past threaten to ensnare the curious...
Trajan's Cadiz is a 9-page look at the western end of the Roman Empire, shot through with supernatural elements suitable for several game systems. Inside is a look at the city in the year 100AD, its history up to that point, ten NPCs (five mortals, five supernatural), and suggestions for creating characters in this setting.
It contains no mechanics and no real layout, which is why the project is PWYW.
