Thank you, sis. I like how it gives me an escape from the NY feel, but we can play as normal slobs. I love where we play as normal people; we get by. The sis your three Marys remind me of Saint Mary of Paris. Former Russian Revolutionary who planned to kill Trotsky for shutting down the SR, later turned Nun after the death of her daughter, she would later be sent to the Concentration camp along with her fellow priest and son for smuggle jews out of France during Nazi occupation. She was a chain-smoking motorcycle-riding nun in the 1920s-1930s Paris.
In the game, especially, the sisters work together and risk everything by expressing the virtue of their faith to save others—no greater love than to lay down your life for another. I'm glad to show that spark of positive religious tradition/spirituality there, even in a small, subtle way.
Sis's question for Skilled: Your old life gave you valuable training. Choose 1 of heavy machinery operator, manual labor, or petty thief; when you Make a Move and it applies, treat rolls of 6- as a 7-9 instead.
Could add an update where each gives a boost to the action on the A. I'm sorry if it's a silly question.
I wanted the Skilled to cover a little bit more than just a specific in-game action; the petty thief might excel at stealing *and* gambling, for instance.
Question then, just so, how I used to skills, you give three categories, but from our conversation, it's up to the player to figure out how large their scope is in reason? Another question is how stress mechanics work, and when my character would get stressed. I figure physical pain, like a gunshot wound, even at a high heat level, can cause stress, or is it more up to the player?
So I got all them. I play this one first. I roled Leo as my character. I am going for Civvi to make him an everyman type character. I want to see how far I can get him.
Honestly, great idea releasing HC Mini - I've been looking at Hardcase for a while now but I'm so buried in games/life that I haven't had a chance. A smaller and cheaper entry point seems like a great way to get people pulled in.

Thanks, I thought so too! People are always asking for an intro solo game, so this was my go at something approachable.
