HARDCASE: TRUTHSEEKER

TRUTHSEEKER is a Server dedicated to all things mysterious, from alleged alien encounters to cover-ups of corporate misdeeds. Many of the TRUTHSEEKER regulars are just conspiracy-prone loners passing the time, but the Server endures because of their ability to occasionally dig up genuinely shocking revelations.

It’s also an expansion to the Online rules in HARDCASE, featuring...

• New mechanics: Doomscroll the News, get paid for Remote Work, chase the fleeting pleasures of E-Dating, rediscover Lost Media for Cash or nerd cred, dote on useless Virtual Pets, and buy 24 new items exclusive to Online Shopping!
• Experience the game's first Deluxe Origin: the HeliOS Cryptid, a new way to play HARDCASE from the perspective of an unprecedented digital intelligence

TRUTHSEEKER adds an optional Mystery subsystem using rules inspired by Carved from Brindlewood games, with 5 Mysteries to solve using the aid of the titular Server:

• THE RED SCREEN VIRUS, about a young man lost to a famous urban legend!
• THE MURDER, about the killing of a poor HC (and the artifact that motivated it)!
• HER MESSAGE, discerning if the return of the supposedly-undead are real — or just a bizarre ad campaign!
• THE BOMB, a race against time to find a bioweapon that threatens every living soul on Basement Station!
• THE C-COLLAPSE, about a digital disaster that threatens to unmake every single Island community in CONQUEROR — and other Online spaces!
